I sold this one a couple of years ago, it's recently come back - words and pictures below are from the last time it was here. Paint has chipped in a couple of places, injector has been replaced with a hand pump and Sam's a foot taller, but it otherwise looks substantially the same.

Having just sold one of these Maxitrak Aveing tractors, another one has just come in. It goes just as well, free-steaming and easy to drive (although with a little care needed to steer in high gear, they go like rockets!). The engine has recently been painted and professionally lined and sign written to a high standard and comes complete with a matching driving/passenger trolley on pneumatic wheels.

Copper silver soldered boiler, feed by injector and mechanical pump with bypass. 80psi working pressure. Cast iron cylinder with slide valve, Stephenson’s gear with pole reverser, mechanical lubricator.

Two speed, three shaft transmission, rubber tyres on road wheels.

Built in 1996, the engine is complete with manufacturer's manual.

Hydraulic test @120psi for 80psi working pressure, expires 14-6-2013
Steam test expires 26-7-2012
