I thought I'd had just about all the Markies in over the years - gas-fired ones, coal-fired ones, Showmans engines, steam rollers, ploughing engines...

So this one was a bit of a surprise, never seen a Markie wagon before. Obviously based on their popular traction engines and sharing some components, to my mind it looks more authentic to a full-sized wagon than the traction engines do to their prototypes.

This one's spirit-fired and comes complete with original manufacturer's paperwork and transport crate.
