Markie Showmans engine - stock code 3027

Ordered by a gentleman who steamed it once after which it was displayed, unused, in his house. An as-new example of the well-regarded 1/10th scale Markie Scenic Showmans engine.

Silver soldered gas-fired copper boiler, working pressure 90psi, fed by mechanical pump with bypass and auxiliary hand pump. Twin Ramsbottom safety valves. Mechanical lubricator. Gunmetal cylinder with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's valve gear with pole reverser on footplate. Two road speeds with winch mounted behind left hand rear wheel.

Electrical system is based on the Burrell Scenic engines, with the main dynamo mounted at the front and a smaller exciter behind the chimney.

The "water bowser" is a rather cunningly disguised gas tank for the engine.

Complete with original bill of sale, instructions and a new winch rope which has never been fitted.

Length 24 inches (excluding bowser)
Height 13 inches

scale 1 1/2 inch & smaller
