A large horizontal engine, of handsome proportions and robust construction - we suspect it started out in life powering small machinery in a workshop.

An older restoration, it's nicely painted and has been mounted on a finely made wooden base.

We like the split main bearings, finely turned connecting rod and wood lagged cylinder with elegantly shaped valve chest.

Turns over freely and runs very well on air down to low speed, with slight runout at the flywheel - not unsurprising given it's age.
