What looks like its original paintwork is now faded, although the red and dark green livery still shows through clearly. Mechanically it's in good condition, silky smooth to turn over it runs beautifully on a few pounds of air - there's some video of it in the workshop here.
Complete with a wooden base, obviously intended to represent the engine room floor - it has steps cut into one side and holes all round which at one time must have carried handrail stanchions.
I like this one, it really deserves sympathetic conservation rather than a quick "strip & paint" job.
