A large locomotive boiler, built in 2006 by Gloucester Steam & Traction for a new-build project which stalled. It's been test steamed on blocks in the owner's yard - we believe once - but is otherwise in as-new condition.
It's a big beastie, barrel is 3/4 inch thick, outer firebox 28 inches long, there are twenty-eight 1 1/2 inch diameter flue tubes. It's just under 120 litres capacity, making it around 1230 bar litres at its working pressure of 150psi - not something you can have tested at the club, you'll need a commercial inspector for this one.
It would be suitable for something large in 10 1/4 inch gauge upwards - either American or narrow gauge sit-in (possibly something along the lines of Giles Favell's super
No.2 design, documented on his excellent website).
CE-marked and complete with manufacturer's certificate of conformance.
