A large horizontal engine, of mainly brass construction, mounted on a stand that looks just like the G-plan coffee table we had when I was a boy. The engine obviously has some age to it, the coffee table doesn't.

Turns over freely, the engine runs on air although with a generous amount of sideplay on the crank - it needs a shim fitting to stop the flywheel damaging the furniture.
