A large "engine house" steam plant, an impressive model comprising a Stuart Mendip boiler - currently gas-fired with ceramic burner, but including a coal grate that shows signs of having been used in the past - providing steam for a Stuart S50 mill engine, 10V vertical engine with dynamo and Cotswold Heritage vertical engine.
Boiler is fed from a water tank with hand pump, the engines are each fitted with a displacement lubricator, exhaust steam is piped into an oil trap and thence to the chimney.
The boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test with new certification issued.
The plant has been unused for some time and will, no doubt require some recommissioning, however all engines are free to turn over - the S50 and 10V run well on air, the other engine appears somewhat throttled by its steam valve.
