"Lady Stephanie" six column beam engine - stock code 12833

A small six column beam engine to Tubal Cain's attractive "Lady Stephanie" design.

Nicely made, the engine turns over freely and runs on air. One governor ball has broken off - the parts are still with the engine and will require a silver soldered repair - and its linkage requires reinstatement.

The air receiver for the pump is loose on the base plate - we suspect it's not a big job to re-tighten, but the engine will need to be unbolted from its wooden base to gain access.

Very pretty - as well as being interesting to watch running, it's just about the ideal size engine to display on a bookcase.
