Greens Economiser engine - stock code 3612

Small horizontal engine by Green's of Wakefield - designed to run their patent flue tube scraping "Economiser" (you have to read it up, you'd never believe it if I tried to describe it to you). There's one left running at Mill Meece pumping station - I bought this one a couple of years ago to put in our stables, I'm rapidly becoming either under-timed or over-projected, either way I've decided time has come to let somebody else have it.

The engine is complete although partly dismantled - there are marks scratch on the piston indicating a rebuild date of twenty or thirty years ago, I suspect that never got finished. Nothing broken or cracked, complete with its original works plates and Pickering governor.

(There is a rather fine board-mounted instruction poster for the engine which now hangs in our house, a photograph of it could be arranged if you need to know how to make it work).
