Grasshopper beam engine - stock code 3167

A well-advanced model of a grasshopper beam engine, built by an experienced model engineer with several other stationary engines, a good Allchin traction engine, several 5 inch gauge locomotives and some rather elegant clocks to his credit - he's currently well on with a 7 1/4 inch gauge "Lion". Of entirely fabricated construction, it requires a small amount of work to complete, mainly pins and fasteners.

The engine is to his own design, well-proportioned and closely following prototypical nineteenth century practice. It's never been run but turns over freely.
