It's come to us as part of a large collection of 45mm gauge locomotives including a kit-built Royal Scot and several commercially built ready-to-run models.

The boiler has had a 150psi hydraulic test which showed no signs of leaks or deflection.

The chassis is stiff to turn over and doesn't run on air - given the quality of the kit underneath, we'd recommend dismantling it completely to diagnose the problem.
