We sold this one back in April last year to a local customer. On display since, it's recently come back as a part-exchange against a 5 inch gauge Stirling single - it remains in the same condition shown opposite.

A gauge 1 Aster spirit-fired "Schools" 4-4-0.

In good condition - the boiler has had recent hydraulic test with new certification issued, the engine runs well on air in either direction; only thing noted was a slight leak from the gasket on one of the backhead valves.
