A venerable specimen of a coal-fired traction engine, of freelance design although with a nod to late nineteenth century practice and proportion, somewhat Durham & North Yorkshireish in overall look.
It obviously hasn't been run in a very long time, the jaunty angle of the chimney gives it a look of constant battle into a force nine gale. The flywheel is missing, other than that looks complete and turns over freely.
