A set of four driving wheel castings, from the same patterns made for a previously commissioned 7 1/4 inch gauge "Saint" - these were intended for a "County", however other projects intervened leading to them languishing at the back of the workshop.

Both "Saint" and "County" shared 6' 8 1/2" driving wheels; whilst the "County" had slightly different crankpin bosses, these were deemed close enough by the famously fastidious builder to be acceptable!
