A large, well-made example of a flame gulper engine. Scratchbuilt, it requires fine adjustment of the flame position and intensity to run - once going it runs very nicely at a stately tickover.

Fascinating to watch, it has to be said that the power output of these flame gulpers makes hot air engines look muscular...
