Castings and machined parts for a 7 1/4 inch gauge Edaville #7, to Don Young's "Maxi 7" design. Work to date comprises an erected set of frames with driving wheels, pony truck, machined cylinders and valve chests along with some motion work.
It looks like the intention was to build as a 2-4-2 + tender rather then the original Forney layout - a practical modification, not unusual for this design.
This will build up into to a large locomotive - the designer quoted running weight at a ton - with a tender and cab your more "in and under" rather than "on and behind".
Mainly stock material required to get from here to an air-running chassis - basically motionwork and valve gear. Plenty of hours in the workshop, but not a great deal to spend to get to that point.
