Drysdale vertical engine with reversing gear - stock code 8759

We sold this one early last year, it's recently come back with several other vintage stationary engines and fittings. Last owner fitted a flywheel with outrigger bearing, other than that it's in similar condition to last time it was here. Words below are from listing in 2018, pictures opposite were taken this morning.

A Drysdale vertical steam engine, of attractive proportions with balanced crank, piston valve actuated by Stephenson's reversing gear and a comprehensive system of wick and drip feed lubricators. Cylinder is wood lagged with brass bands.

There is no reversing lever or quadrant, although it would not be a terribly difficult job to make something in similar style to the rest of the engine. The engine is in good condition, castings undamaged, it turns over freely.
