Dayland steam car engine - stock code 6592

A new, unused Dayland steam car engine, built to a high standard by a local man, the owner of two original Locomobile steam cars. A talented engineer, musician, vintage radio expert - he always appears to get into an evening what most of us dream of getting done in a week.

Built more as an intellectual exercise than out of any real need for the thing (his two-seater Locomobile still running with a good deal of verve on its original 1901 engine), he completed this one some time ago. It's never been run and is fairly stiff to turn over, although without tight spots and requires some fasteners to various covers to complete.

Complete with a box of spare laser cut parts for the valve gear, various machining fixtures and a set of drawings, with builder's annotations.
