A large model compound launch engine with Stephenson's reversing gear.

Well made in the first place, the engine has a balanced crank running in three split brass bearings; connecting rods are well proportioned, cylinders are fitted with drain cocks.

Now in need of restoration - slightly stiff to turn, in the first instance it needs stripping, cleaning and lubricating. It's missing various fastenings, with the cylinder block loose on its platform.

For all that a worthwhile project - rare in this size, it has the potential to make an attractive engine.
