I could use some help on this one, not at all sure what it
is.
At first glance it looks for all the world like a Stuart
Score, until you realise that there is only one cylinder, flanked on either side
by a pair of piston valves, each spring loaded and cam-operated from the crank.
The cylinder is single acting, steam looks like it’s supposed to go in one
side and exit opposite.
The thing is nicely made and turns over freely – I’ve
never seen one before, I’m sure somebody will let us know what it is.
