Apprentice-built horizontal mill engine - stock code 1469

Interesting scratch-built horizontal engine with piston valve operated by reversing lever and return crank, coupled drain cocks and counterbalanced crank. Mounted on chequered steel base plate, 8 x 4 inches. 3/4 x 1 bore and stroke, flywheel a little over 3 inch diameter. Turns over very smoothly - the valve gear is particularly interesting in a stationary engine of this size. The engine runs well but is incomplete - the lifting link and operating lever appear never to have been made. If required, we can complete this engine for those without machining facilities.
