Powered by a Honda four stroke engine, driving through the well-proven Eaton hydrostatic transmission giving infinitely variable speed control with braking in either direction.
The engine starts easily, the locomotive runs very well light engine at little more than tickover. It's fitted with two tone horns, as well as a very bright headlight.
An attractive design - and considerably more powerful at 3.0bhp/2200W than the battery-electric version's 800W - it would make a useful addition to any garden railway.
