An early stage 7 1/4 inch narrow gauge Hunslet 0-4-0ST "Louisa", works number 195 supplied new to the Dinorwic Quarries in 1877.
From a time when the classic "Quarry Hunslet" design was still evolving, to our eyes the point when Hunslet and Manning Wardle took different forks in the narrow gauge evolutionary tree.
Built to 3 inch scale, work to date is to an exceptional standard, comprising:
