Of simple construction and plain visage it goes very well, the tender providing a comfortable perch from which to drive. A new owner could, should they desire, transform its looks with some painting, panelling, lining and detailing for little additional cost -
There are a pair of batteries. "Fitted" would be to overstate work involved in their installation; both have simply been sat in position, the rear one on a piece of plywood, the front one on a pair of storage heater slabs, there to increase adhesive weight. Both could use a more secure method of holding them in place.
There's a handbrake fitted to the tender, with vacuum brakes fitted for the locomotive, with electric pump. The motor is driven through an Mtroniks controller, with chain-drive to the axles.
There are a pair of running lights at the front, one working, one not.
