A 7 1/4 inch gauge "Wren" to Ken Swan's excellent design - the rather careworn looks and tired paint belie the fact that it's a recently-built engine in good mechanical order, it goes well (not as well as the new Stafford it was part-exchanged against, but then we would say that, wouldn't we).
Silver soldered copper boiler, 90psi working pressure, feed by injector and crosshead pump. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Hackworth gear with pole reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator.
Complete with a slate wagon driving truck.
