A 7 1/4 inch gauge Stafford 0-4-0ST, works number 1312, delivered new in August 2011 - it's recently come in as part exchange against a new Big Stafford (just like the red Stafford we've just sold - I think we're starting to see a trend in upsizing here!)

Welded steel boiler with expanded tubes, 120psi working pressure, feed by twin injectors. Safety valve is the latest soft-lift type. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Walschaert's gear, pole reverser, mechanical lubricator. For a full specification, see the Stafford data sheet here.

The engine is in good condition, fitted with a decent whistle and gauge glass protector. It's been serviced in the workshop here and is supplied with 12 months warranty, handbook and starter kit exactly the same as a new Stafford.
