A 7 1/4 inch gauge "Romulus" to Roger Marsh's popular design. This locomotive was built as one of a pair by a professional engineer - it has been test steamed on blocks only and has yet to pull a passenger.
Commercially-built silver soldered copper boiler by GB Boilers, 80psi working pressure. Feed by twin injectors fed from side and well tanks. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Walshaert's gear - a improvement over the Hackworth gear normally seen on Romuli. Mechanical lubricator.
The engine is equipped with vacuum braking equipment for the train, there is a hand brake for the locomotive.
Complete with a pair of substantial, custom-built wooden crates.
