We sold this one back in Spring 2025. Used a handful of times over the summer at the owner's club, it's recently come back to us in part-exchange for something a little more substantial for passenger hauling.

A 7 1/4 inch gauge Maxitrak "Pearl", their take on a Kerr Stuart "Wren".

An older engine, it's been serviced with the valves reset, clack cleaned and a new union sleeve fitted on the injector delivery pipe. The boiler has had hydraulic and steam test with new certification issued.

On the rolling road it proved free-steaming and ran well - better in forwards than reverse, with some wear apparent in the axleboxes.
