We sold this one back in August of last year, it's recently come back in part exchange for one of our "Feldbahns" for the owner's garden railway. It's in pretty much the same condition now as when we last had it in - words and pictures below are from last year.
A 7 1/4 inch gauge Kerr Stuart design, built to Ken Swan's excellent design, complete with appropriate looking narrow gauge driving truck.
Silver soldered copper boiler, 80psi working pressure, feed by injector and crosshead pump. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Hackworth gear with pole reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator.
Recently repainted, the engine runs well - the ideal size for a garden railway giving a combination of good hauling capacity with the ability to negotiate tight curves.
