Rather like waiting for a bus to come then three arriving at once, no sooner have we sent one good part-built "Hercules" off to foreign shores when another comes in. I sold this one back in 2005, there are a lot of words about it and some pictures in the archive here. Built to an exceptional standard, it has since had a copper boiler built for it by Western Steam and there the project rests. It requires platework and fittings and could be finished over this winter for no more than a few hundred pounds expenditure to produce an extremely fine example of this large, powerful tank engine.
The complete engine weighs just under 300 pounds when finished, I sold one last year, there are pictures in the archive it you want to see what it looks like finished.
