A well-built "Hercules", built as a 2-4-0 variant of this popular, powerful 7 1/4 inch gauge tank locomotive.
Welded steel boiler with expanded tubes, 100psi working pressure. Feed by injector and axle pump with auxiliary hand pump. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Walschaert's gear, pole reverser in the cab. Mechanical lubricator on the offside running board, with sight glass.
The engine has been unused in some years - last club test was in 2004.
