This one has come to us with current club certification, with steam test through until May 2024. Well built, it's had recent work by a professional model engineer whose abilities we esteem; the engine presents well, with bright paintwork and neatly laid out backhead.
We've hydraulic tested the boiler and issued new certification for same; the chassis runs on air in both directions with some blow by - we would expect it to improve under steam.
The driving truck, in the form of a GWR cattle wagon, is fitted with brakes and water tank, with feed to the injectors.
