A well made 7 1/4 inch gauge Great Western 11XX dock shunter, completed in 1974 and appearing only to have been test steamed from the look of the firebox - it's been on static display in a private collection for the past few years. Motionwork is finished to a high standard, machining is crisply done all over, from the reverser to regulator handle.

Silver soldered copper boiler, feed by axle pump and hand pump, single spring type safety valve. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Walschaert's gear, pole reverser in the cab, mechanical lubricator.

Nicely detailed with an assortment of miniature lamps, oil cans and tool boxes the engine runs well on air -there's a clip of it in the workshop here.
