A 7 1/4 inch gauge "General Gordon", works number 1430, delivered new in December 2020. The engine has recently come back to us following the owner's move to 10 1/4 inch gauge.

Specified with every option available when built, including hand lined livery, whistle, gauge protector, vacuum brake equipment, polished brass nameplates and tie-down eyes on the buffer beams.

It has recently been fitted with steam chest pressure gauge and rechargeable dual-aspect headlamp.

Regular readers may remember this was one of four new "General Gordon"s steam tested on the same day, there's some video of them running here.

Supplied with handbook, 12 months warranty and starter kit of coal, oil and water treatment - exactly the same as we offer with our new engines.
