A well-advanced 7 1/4 inch gauge "Duchess", the work of an accomplished engineer with many engines to his credit - current project is a nearly completed Manning Wardle "Anna", we recently had his 4 inch scale Clayton steam wagon in.

Advancing years and indifferent health has brought an end to work on projects of this size, it's time for somebody else to take up the challenge. There is a large quantity of work done to date, the chassis is largely complete with much of the valve gear done bar one radius rod, two eccentric rods with return cranks and the die blocks. The steel boiler was built by Gloucester Steam & Traction in 2000, all welded with expanded tubes, hydraulic tested at 300psi for a working pressure of 150psi.Driving wheels are particularly nice, double-side castings with correct oval spoke profile.

Complete with a large quantity of drawings and literature, including the builders notebook with well executed sketches together with numerous copies of works drawings.
