It's recently come to us in part exchange for a traction engine. The boiler has club history, it's had recent hydraulic and steam tests in the workshop here with new certification issued, with little work required other than a new, red-lined pressure gauge and pair of safety valves - the originals were marginal on accumulation.
The engine is free-steaming, runs quietly - the loudest thing is the clicking of the lubricator ratchet - and notches up close to mid gear.
