A complete 7 1/4 inch gauge 14xx chassis, built to Martin Evans' "Dart" design and complete with reverser stand, draincock linkage and steam brake. Work to date is to a good standard, the motion turns over freely without tight spots. Valves require setting (to which end the builder has thoughtfully provided sighting plugs in the bottom of the valve chest).

Complete with a bound set of the original "Model Engineer" articles covering construction. The finished engine comes out at around four feet long, weighing 300 pounds.
