A freelance 7 1/4 inch gauge 0-4-0 switcher, robustly built, complete with ride on tender.

Steel boiler with expanded tubes, 100psi working pressure, feed by injector and handpump - there's a steam pump as well, which has a mind of its own about whether or not to work. Cast iron cylinder with slide valves actuated by Walschaert's gear with pole reverser in the cab. Automatic drain cocks, screw down brake.

It runs well, Sam put it in steam this afternoon and laid down a few panels of the portable track we used for open day - it runs up and down quietly, free-steaming and very responsive to the regulator (there's a clip of him here). Could see this one going up home for a while (where we're currently without any form of steam in the shed, sole motive power is a Lister autotruck).
