A well built 6 inch scale Ruston Proctor SD 3 ton steam tractor - we've had these in all sizes over the years, from 2 inch scale to full size.

Welded steel CE-marked boiler by AJB Engineering, built 2006, expanded steel tubes, 120psi working pressure. Twin Ramsbottom type safety valves. Feed by injector and hand pump, with auxiliary steam pump mounted on the rear spectacle plate. Cast iron cylinder with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's gear, pole reverser, mechanical lubricator.

Two speed, three shaft transmission with differential, rubber tyres bonded to road wheels, wind behind nearside rear wheel.

Complete with tender-mounted driving seat and passenger trolley, the engine is road-registered with a V5 document. It's in good mechanical order, paintwork is well done and in nice condition, it runs well.
