5 inch gauge Terrier - stock code 2764

A 5 inch gauge Stroudley Terrier to Martin Evans' pretty "Boxhill" design, a diminutive engine in both full-size and model form.

Silver-soldered copper boiler by Cheddar with certificate. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's valve gear with pole reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator.

Completed in 2004, this engine has never been steamed. Workmanship is utility rather than show-winning, paintwork probably took less than thirty minutes with an aerosol (including a good dose for the wheels, coupling rods and backhead fittings) and is crappy rather than utility. The engine looks to need a degree of sympathetic fettling and a decent repaint but there is definite potential in the project - a complete set of drawings is included.
