A 5 inch gauge GWR 15xx 0-6-0PT built to LBSC's "Speedy" design, finished in 2007 and fitted with modified valve gear giving an engine that runs well.
Commercially-built CE-marked silver soldered copper boiler by GB Boilers, 90psi working pressure, feed by twin injectors. Gunmetal cylinder with piston valves actuated by Walschaert's gear with pole reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator.
I've had a lot of these over the years, they are strong, powerful performers - a good beginner's engine in this gauge (and so much better looking than the ubiquitious Simplex!). We had this one on the rolling road for the boiler inspector earlier in the week, there's a short clip of it here.
