5 inch gauge 0-6-0 tank engine, based on Martin Evans' "Simplex" design but fitted with saddle tank and done up as an ersatz Peckett-type industrial locomotive.

Silver soldered copper boiler with superheaters, feed by axle pump and huge hand pump on the footplate. Outside cylinders, slide valve actuated by Walschaert's valve gear, mechanical lubricator.

The motion is worn although workable, pump bypass plumbing needs some refurbishment and the fixed grate retaining pin needs replacing.
