A "Polly II" of 1997 vintage, built from a kit and fresh from a recent overhaul, including new expansion links and mechanical lubricator. It's in good order and goes like they all do - easy to steam, easy to drive.

Silver solder copper superheated boiler, 90psi working pressure, feed by axle pump and injector with auxiliary hand pump in tender. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's reversing gear with screw reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator on running board.

The engine runs very nicely - Polly Engineering rate these as capable of pulling six passengers and negotiating ten foot curves which makes them just about the ideal garden railway engine.
