A 5 inch gauge Fowler 2F to Austin-Walton's "Twin Sisters" design - he did two variations: quick-build club engine or super-detailed version. I had one of the latter in a year or two back, an extremely fine engine, there's a write-up and pictures in the archive. This engine is being built to the same design and very much the same sort of quality.
Work to date is to an immaculate standard and includes rolling chassis complete with pumps, steam brake gear and sanding gear (yes, really). There's a beautifully rivetted smokebox assembly, set of brass water tanks, a large quantity of machined parts including a good deal of motionwork and a pair of superbly machined cylinders, complete with slide valves. The copper boiler has been part assembled.
