I sold this one back in March 2006. Since then the tender has been finished and painted to a high standard, the locomotive chassis has been painted. Other than that it remains in pretty much the same condition as last time it was here minus an injector - tender and painted chassis pictures are from today, the remainder from last time it was here.

For lovers of jigsaw puzzles, this is probably the ideal project. A complete 5 inch gauge 9F, about two thirds of the bits have been opened and either fitted or put into a large wooden crate. The remainder are still in their sealed bags, as they left the factory. There is a complete set of assembly instructions.

In addition, the original builder had made, at vast expense, a complete set of CNC machined motionwork and rods, along with a set of locomotive and tender steps from Doug Hewson.

Plenty of work to do, although not much by way of additional expense, to make a mighty great locomotive (I speak from experience, having had to lift the chassis yesterday).
