The axle pump has been removed - parts retained and are included - with its clack now used for an injector which "works effortlessly" according to the workshop notes.
A hand pump had been fitted which is effective although on the large side for its pipework, requiring slow, deliberate strokes allowing it to fill when in use.
The safety valves have been changed for the excellent, old-style Polly pop type - the originals were retained and are included.
The brake gear - largely ornamental on locomotives of this size and weight - has been removed, its linkage re-purposed to provide remote operation of the drain cocks - in our opinion a much more useful facility!
Fitted with one of the currently fashionable rosebud grates, the original grate is included should a new owner wish to change back.
The boiler has had hydraulic and steam tests with new certification issued.
