From the large collection we bought last year - the lifetime's work of a highly capable engineer who built over twenty locomotives from 2 1/2 to 7 1/4 inch gauge over a forty year period - these parts appear to be the start of a batch of three engines to the Les Saxby "Asia" design, using parts and drawings from Reeves.
Work to date comprises sets of machined leading, driving and tender wheels along with smokebox door, front ring and eccentric strap castings for three engines; two chimney castings; some profiled frames; one set of machined gunmetal cylinders and a set of drawings.
