A nicely-made and well-painted LNER B1 to Martin Evans' "Springbok" design, in good running order. The engine is nicely detailed throughout, with dummy Wakefield lubricators on the running boards and a neatly laid out backhead.

Silver soldered copper boiler with superheaters, 90psi working pressure, twin safety valves. Feed by twin injectors and axle pump with auxiliary hand pump in the tender. Cast iron cylinders with piston valves actuated by Walschaert's gear with screw reverser in the cab. Mechanical lubricator. Steam brakes to locomotive.
