A finely made 5 inch gauge LNER B1 to Martin Evans' "Springbok" design, in good condition throughout it runs well; free-steaming and quiet in operation, it notches up in either direction.

Machining is to a high standard throughout, fit and finish of the motionwork and valve gear - wrought largely in stainless steel - is very good, assembled with castellated nuts, collars and taper pins.
